A journalist has been promoted to Senior National Correspondent. Based in Atlanta, the correspondent has been reporting extensively on law enforcement across America and covering diverse news stories across the U.S.

Recent coverage included reporting from Nashville, where two Democratic members of the state house were expelled for participating in protests at the state Capitol. The protests were in response to a deadly mass shooting at a school. The correspondent also spoke with the expelled members in the crowds. Additionally, the correspondent reported on the implementation of reforms in Mississippi after deputies and an officer pleaded guilty to torturing two Black men.

The journalist had joined the organization in 2015 and most recently served as a National Correspondent.
